Ubuntu Development Cycle
There is a new release of Ubuntu Linux every 6 months. During each 6 month development cycle, there are numerous opportunities - including milestone snapshots released approximately monthly - to test the development version for hardware compatibility, and give feedback to the Ubuntu developers to ensure compatibility on your hardware.
